I rented a couple of lenses this weekend, just to play around with. One was the Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS, mostly in an attempt to get better shots of the moon. The first two I attempted below were taken in the parking lot of a local supermarket, the other in my driveway about an hour after dusk.
We’ll see what tomorrow night yields as I sit out in my local favorite beach hangout waiting for the moon to rise. Check back here over the next few days.
In the meantime, a happy and safe weekend to everyone worldwide!
The annual International Sand Sculpting Festival hit Revere Beach this weekend and the magnificent talent on display was second to none. I had a bit of an issue with a corrupt CompactFlash card that lost half of the pics I took, but fortunately it still managed to give me half of what I shot.
I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did taking them.
