The 2015 Salem Film Festival is in full swing this week. If you live in the area and are looking for quality films to check out, look no further than this festival. 38 Films by filmmakers from 10 different countries will be presenting their work. There are also panel discussions and post-screening Q&A with the filmmakers as well as musical performances and other events to attend not only at the Cinema, but also places such as the Peabody Essex Museum.
The following photos are from two events I covered on Friday, March 6th. The first was a Q&A session with the director of the documentary Davids and Goliath, Leon Lee. The second was a pre-screening performance by Andrew Harney prior to the premiere of the documentary “Morphine: Journey of Dreams”.
The festival runs through the 12th of March. I will be covering a few additional events on Sunday and Monday of this week and will be posting highlights on the blog.
